To provide excellent quality care to our patients. Perform duties as delegated by our physicians and management.
*Greet patients as they arrive at our office. Assist patients with the check in process and gather all information needed for their visit that day. Update patient demographics, insurance coverage, etc. Assist patients with the required forms.
*Collect co-pays and balances due from patients. Work to expedite the check in process so our physicians see the patient on time.
*The front desk staff are trained for the check in and check out positions. The check out staff will schedule the patient's next visit. Also, will add charges and payments. Both positions balance all charges and payments at their station at end of day.
*Maintain a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, Corporate Compliance Program, Code of Ethics as well as our office policy & procedures.
*Professionalism is essential for our medical office employees because patients need to respect and trust their physicians. Our office expects honesty, integrity, empathy, respect for others, courtesy and cooperation at all times.
